Hospital considers offering ‘preferential care based on race’, ‘discounted or free care’ for minorities only

The following article contains editorial content written by a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.

BOSTON, MA- “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Those words were delivered in Washington, D.C. on August 28, 1963 by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, nearly 58 years ago. Where has our country gone? Completely in the opposite direction of the direction Dr. King had hoped for, but not in the direction one might be thinking of.

Where Dr. King’s dream had been that America would become a “color-blind” society, that whole notion has been turned on its head. Where he had hoped that people would be judged only on who they are, that too is no longer the case. It has in fact flipped in the opposite direction.

For proof of that, look no further than Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

According to the Washington Examiner, has now indicated it may offer “preferential care based on race” and “race-explicit” interventions in what it refers to as an attempt to engage in an “antiracist agenda for medicine” based on critical race theory.

We suppose that depends on what they mean by “antiracist agenda for medicine.” Because clearly, such a policy is racist—against whites.

According to a Boston Review article, “An Antiracist Agenda for Medicine,” it specifies a plan for that facility to implement a so-called “reparations framework” for allocating medical resources in order to “comprehensively confront structural racism.”

Continuing, it reads:

“Together with a coalition of fellow practitioners and hospital leaders, we have developed what we hope will be a replicable pilot program for direct redress of many racial health care inequities,” said Harvard Medical School Instructors Bram Wispelwey and Michell Morse in the article.

In attempting to explain the program, they claim that “racial inequity” in hospitals negatively affects patients and they propose solution such as “cash transfers and discounted or free care” for minorities only. Yes, you read that right—for minorities only.

The two “doctors” acknowledge that the program may be somewhat controversial and in fact recognize that offering such a program “may elicit legal challenges from our system of colorblind law.” No kidding, Captains Obvious.

“Offering preferential care based on race or ethnicity may elicit legal challenges from our system of colorblind law…We encourage other institutions to proceed confidently on behalf of equity and racial justice, with backing provided by recent White House executive orders,” they said in reference to recent executive orders signed by Biden.

Critical race theory, which alleges the United States is a systemically, fundamentally racist country and that our amazing founding documents—the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution—are inherently racist has been poisoning our public schools, businesses and corporations over the past several years. That led former President Donald Trump to issue an executive order banning the practice in government institutions.

Biden of course being the “revolutionary” that he is rescinded President Trump’s order, which now allows the practice to be once again pushed on government employees, including by the way our military.

In a statement to the Washington Examiner, Brigham and Women’s tried to distance itself from the two doctors, saying that it is an “opinion piece written by two physicians, not a formal position of the hospital.”

“The Brigham is committed to examining and eliminating the many impacts that racism has on the health and wellbeing of our patients,” the statement said.

“As part of our system’s United Against Racism campaign, we support efforts focused on both the access and the experience of our patients, focusing on community health and advocacy, and increasing the diversity of leadership.”

The statement continued:

“As part of this commitment, researchers have proposed a pilot program for heart failure patients that aims to address the racial inequities found that race, as well as other factors, affected who was admitted to cardiology service at the hospital. Aspects of this pilot program were described within the opinion piece you cited. This program offers a critical step toward identifying opportunities to improve access for patients who have been historically denied equal access.”

We are pretty sure this is not what Dr. King had in mind when he advocated for a colorblind society.

Last year, Law Enforcement Today reported on the Department of Energy mandating critical race theory training at the Sandia National [Nuclear] Laboratory. For more on that, we invite you to:

DIG DEEPER

WASHINGTON, DC- Breitbart News is reporting that the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy is asking the National Nuclear Security Administration and the agency’s inspector general to investigate so-called “social workshops” that were held which forced white men to participate in. They were to be allegedly cured of “racism, sexism and homophobia.”

Sec. Dan Brouillette through a spokesperson issued a statement after Christopher F. Rufo, an author, writer and researcher exposed the workshops. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) asked for the allegations to be looked into.

“The Department of Energy (DOE) leadership did not have knowledge of our authorize the use of taxpayer dollars for the reported social workshops at the Sandia National Laboratories or elsewhere,” the spokesperson’s statement said.

“The Secretary has directed the NNSA, as well as DOE leadership, to initiate and expedite enterprise wide review of trainings that take place at all 17 labs, plants and sites to ensure equal treatment of all employees and contractors.”

“In addition, he has asked DOE’s Inspector General to initiate its own independent investigation,” the statement said.

Rufo noted that the training was based on “critical race theory (CRT),” which says:

“The view that the law and legal institutions are inherently racist and that race itself, instead of being biologically grounded and natural, is a socially constructed concept that is used by white people to further their economic and political interests at the expense of people of color.”

Rufo noted that he was dedicated to driving critical race theory out of the federal government, saying he was declaring a “one-man war against critical race theory in the federal government.”

Both Rufo and Hawley tweeted about the latest developments:

For our original reporting on this matter, we invite you to:

DIG DEEPER

ALBUQUERQUE, NM- We’re not sure about the rest of you but we are honestly getting sick and tired of being targeted as white males for alleged “toxic masculinity” or “white privilege.”

We can honestly say that everything that we have gotten in life was the result of hard work, not the color of our skin, or what gender we were born as.

Now, we have seen men being sent to the equivalent of reeducation camps to examine our so-called “white privilege. The latest was a government research lab, where white males only (is that even legal?) were forced to go to a training course to examine their “privilege.”

According to Breitbart News and as reported on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the men were forced to attend a training course titled, “White Men’s Caucus on Eliminating Racism, Sexism, and Homophobia in Organizations,” according to Christopher F. Rufo, an author, writer, and researcher.

Rufo on Twitter posted documents from the training session, which took place at the Sandia National Laboratories, which is federally funded. According to its website, it is “operated and managed by National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell International, Inc.

As Breitbart noted, the Sandia National Laboratories are operated by “National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNNSA) and supports numerous federal, state, and local government agencies companies and organizations.”

So, what types of associations are attributed to white male culture?

“In the opening thought-work session, the trainers demand that the men make a list of associations about white male culture. The trainers write ‘white supremacists,’ ‘KKK,’ Aryan Nation,’ ‘MAGA hat,’ ‘privileged,’ and ‘mass killings,’ Rufo tweeted.

“The trainers insist that white males must ‘work hard to understand’ their ‘white privilege,’ ‘male privilege,’ and ‘heterosexual privilege.’ They claim that white men benefit from positive stereotypes that ‘far outweigh the Tim McVeigh’s and Ted Kaczynski’s of white maleness,” Rufo further tweeted.

Rufo says that such attributes of the “roots of white male culture” must be exposed, things such as “rugged individualism,” a “can-do attitude,” “hard work,” and “striving towards success.” Rufo says that while these attributes are positive traits for anyone, the trainers in this particular course claim that these traits are “devastating” to both women and POCs (people of color).

The course further trains attendees that “white male culture” leads to “lowered quality of life at work and home, reduced life expectancy, unproductive relationships and high stress.” The claim is that this particular “white male standard” is then forced on women and minorities.

Other sessions, Rufo said attendees (white males only, again) are forced to recite, publicly a sequence of so-called “white privilege statements,” along with “male privilege statements.” They are also forced to accept so-called “complicity in the white male system,” and examine “their role in creating oppressions,” Rufo further tweeted.

“Finally, as the reeducation camp concludes, the white males must write letters ‘directed to white women, people of color, and other groups regarding the meaning of this Caucus experience.’

They apologize for their ‘privilege’ and pledge to become ‘better [allies],’” Rufo tweeted.

This past week, Rufo appeared on Carlson’s show on Fox and he said that he is going to investigate this particular attempt, as well as others perpetrated by the “deep state” in an attempt to “embed radical ideology into the federal government.”

“I am declaring a one-man war against critical race theory in the federal government and I will not stop my investigations until it is abolished from our public institutions,” Rufo said about what he is trying to accomplish.

Reason magazine reached out to the Sandia Labs, and they said that “inclusion and diversity are ‘defining elements’ of its culture, which ‘welcomes multiple perspectives, promotes different working styles and leads to the innovation in science, engineering and technology for which we are known.’”

Reason noted that Sandia Labs would not even confirm that the seminar actually took place, despite the fact that Rufo had included in related documents a list of participants in the program, as well as discussion leaders, although their actual identities had been redacted.

Rufo advocates passing legislation in order to “abolish critical race theory” within the federal government. Reason notes that although Sandia is not a branch of the federal government, it does draw most of its funding through government grants.

Reason opines that such programs are a “waste of money,” and that such programs, designed to “identify and reduce bias” typically contain inherent flaws, and rely on “poorly tested and unscientific ideas and research.”

Can you imagine if such a program were put in place for African Americans? Members of the LGBT mafia? This is clearly discriminatory.

And was it any other demographic involved; you would see this all over the news. Race baiter Al Sharpton would be all over the news; Hollywood “celebrities” would be on Twitter condemning it. But what we have now is white males being the new boogeyman. All because of how we were born.

I for one will NOT apologize for how I was born.

I have nothing to apologize for. My ancestors have nothing to do with the “experience” of African Americans or any other minority. It’s honestly scary how many whites think they are somehow virtuous by claiming their “white privilege” and apologizing for how they were born. It’s sickening really.

You want me to apologize for being born a white, Christian, heterosexual male? Go pound sand. And the government and agencies which it sponsors should not be in the business of forcing white males to apologize for anything.

This is something that any right-thinking American taxpayer should oppose—vehemently. It is a waste of taxpayer dollars. And none of the government’s business. Its nauseating actually.
