Report: Biden has excess illegal immigrants flown to Canadian border to speed up their processing

WASHINGTON, DC – With as inundated as the southern border has been of late, the Biden administration is reportedly working to have excess illegal immigrants flown to the Canadian border so as to expedite processing, according to reports.

It’s really without question at this point that the U.S.-Mexico border is experiencing a surge of foot traffic and unlawful migrant crossings into the United States.

While there may be different takes on how to approach the issue, both Democrats and Republicans are at least on the same page that there is an issue with respect to the southern border.

But according to recent reports coming from the Washington Post, the Biden administration is intent on taking the approach of flying some of the migrants to the Canadian border to as to utilize those rarely hampered facilities to expedite processing of these individuals and families coming in.

In the WaPo’s report on the matter, the news outlet described the activity at the southern border as a “widening emergency” which the Biden administration is in a “scramble to contend with” while citing how backed up the southern border facilities have become:

“The extraordinary volume of unauthorized border crossings in recent days has left the families and minors waiting hours outdoors, many under a bridge next to the river where CBP is operating a large outdoor processing station.

“The backups have been exacerbated by the more than 4,500 unaccompanied teenagers and children held in detention cells and border tent sites, a record number.”

Within the report from the Washington Post, there were concerns cited regarding whether the U.S. government would be able to provide “winter clothing” for illegal immigrants flown into northern border states’ Border Patrol facilities for processing:

“CBP officials did not immediately respond to questions about whether the government would be able to furnish winter clothing to parents with children if they are sent to states such as Montana, South Dakota and Michigan, where the Border Patrol has far fewer staff members and generally smaller facilities.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has also been using ICE aircrafts to transfer some migrants from the Rio Grande Sector over to El Paso, Texas, as the Rio Grande facilities are reportedly “overcapacity”:

“CBP has used ICE aircraft in recent days to transport migrant families from the Rio Grande Valley, where facilities are far overcapacity, to the El Paso area. Many of those families are then being returned to Mexico under a Trump-era emergency public health order.”

On top of the aforementioned practices, FEMA confirmed on March 18th that $110 million will be sourced from the supplemental funding within the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 in order to help fund nonprofits and government agencies that aim to assist illegal immigrants coming into the United States.

In other news relating to American taxpayers funding aspects that tacitly encourage illegal immigration, we at Law Enforcement Today recently shared a report noting that taxpayers will be shelling out housing costs for some illegal immigrants crossing into the country.

Here’s that previous report.

US-MEXICO BORDER- Sorry Biden. Too little too late. After issuing an invitation for illegals to come to America, Biden has now tried to reverse course…too little too late.

Now, the American taxpayers will be on the hook for $86 million dollars to house migrants near the border. Compared to the trillions that has been spent over the past six months, that number amounts to breadcrumbs. But still it shows the incompetence of the Biden administration.

According to Axios, the administration secured a contract in that amount with hotels to house migrants, this as the administration struggles to address the overwhelming numbers crossing the border into the United States, primarily due to Biden’s promise to put a 100-day moratorium on deportations.

Honestly, what did they expect?

According to Business Insider, the contract is with hotels in Arizona and Texas close to the Mexican border, with the program expected to hold about 1,200 illegals, or around $70,137 apiece.

The contract was arranged through something called Endeavors, which is a non-profit with programs including housing services and disaster relief.

This isn’t the first time that hotels have been used; last year hotels were used when hundreds of migrants were held in hotels prior to being deported under President Trump’s pandemic border ban, and also the fact that they were here illegally.

The hotels are actually being reworked, Breitbart News reports as “welcoming centers” which are a temporary measure until Biden unleashes them into the interior United States.

Breitbart also reported that detention facilities at the border are being converted into similar welcoming centers for illegal border crossers until adults and children are released within a 72-hour period.

It is expected that the administration will allow 120,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) into the country this year.

Likewise, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is allocating an additional $110 million for “eligible nonprofit and governmental organizations and state governmental facilities that have aided, or will aid” border crossers who are apprehended and subsequently released into the interior U.S.

As Law Enforcement Today has previously reported, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told House lawmakers last week that the agency has in fact been releasing illegal aliens into the interior U.S. who had not been tested for coronavirus, and were later discovered to be carrying the virus.

Meanwhile, American citizens are still forced to wear masks, socially distance, and children in many locations are still not in school.

According to some federal officials in comments to the media, UACs at one facility had a positive coronavirus rate of 11 percent, which is nearly double the Texas positivity average. This angered Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), who called the COVID-19 outbreak at the UAC facilities “unacceptable and inhumane.”

In February, nearly 100,000 illegals were apprehended at the southern border, which was a 170 percent increase over February 2020. The number of illegal aliens who successfully crossed the border undetected since last October has surpassed 118,000, as reported in an exclusive Breitbart News report.

Meanwhile, the Daily Wire reported that there are currently some 13,000 unaccompanied minors in custody at Customs and Border Protection facilities in what are described as rapidly deteriorating conditions.

Citing the Axios report, the Daily Wire further wrote that “the growing number of migrant families trying to come to the U.S.—in addition to already overwhelming numbers of kids crossing the border without their parents or legal guardians…appear to be straining government resources.”

“Border officials continue to use a Trump-era order to quickly return many families to Mexico. But Mexico has limited capacity to take in migrant families and won’t accept some with young children, according to administration officials,” Axios said.

“Forty-two percent of families were expelled to Mexico last month—down from 64% in January and 91% in October, according to the data. More than 13,000 family members who crossed the U.S. border illegally have been allowed into the country since the start of January, many released into border communities.”
