Virtue signaling is the last refuge of a scoundrel, and there are few bigger scoundrels in America than John Brennan.
Barack Obama’s former CIA director continues to be a key driver of the divisive identity politics agenda of the Democratic party and has lent his voice to the ongoing demonization of straight white males in Joe Biden’s America.
On Monday, Brennan appeared on MSNBC in a segment where he attacked Republicans for not sufficiently denouncing former President Donald J. Trump. He also added that he is “increasingly embarrassed to be a white male these days.”
Brennan’s remarks came the day after Trump’s triumphant return to the political realm with an epic speech at the CPAC convention that has put Democrats and their media mouthpieces on edge.

Via The Washington Examiner, “Former CIA Director John Brennan says he is ‘increasingly embarrassed to be a white male’”:
“Former CIA Director John Brennan said he is “increasingly embarrassed to be a white male” while discussing supporters of former President Donald Trump.
Former Sen. Claire McCaskill, a Democrat from Missouri, remarked how she saw “whiny white men calling themselves victims … over the weekend at CPAC,” which she attributed to how they believe they have “a huge grievance from a position of significant privilege,” before asserting that the Republican Party has embraced lies about who the rioters were and in claiming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi denied a request for National Guard support.
Host Nicolle Wallace, who was a White House communications director under President George W. Bush, then teed up Brennan by casting doubt on the “notion” that Republicans care about the lives and safety of law enforcement.
“Well, I must say, to Claire’s point, I’m increasingly embarrassed to be a white male these days,” Brennan began, prompting a laugh from Wallace, who was visible on the split screen, “with what I see other white males saying.”
His comments earned Brennan the approval of host Nicole Wallace, who recently suggested that the Biden regime should order drone strikes against Trump supporters.
The ex-spook also praised anti-Trump Republicans including Mitt Romney, Adam Kinzinger, and Liz Cheney who he claimed “value truth, honesty, and integrity,” none of which he himself possesses.
Brennan, who headed the CIA from 2013-2017 and played a key role in the Russiagate hoax, was not similarly embarrassed by such things as torture, mass surveillance, drone killings, and the usual skullduggery that the agency dabbles in.
In saner times, the transitioning of the nation’s former top intelligence official into a prominent media role – which Brennan took when he was hired by NBC in 2018 – would have raised serious red flags but the war against then-President Donald J. Trump led to diminished standards that have shorn the media of its credibility.
His remarks show that the Democrats are only going to triple-down on their dehumanizing of white males, something that is increasingly dangerous in a divided nation in which citizens have been pitted against one another by the media.
