Democrats have been blasted as hypocritical for reinstating the notorious ‘kids in cages’ detention policies at the border that they previously used to attack President Trump.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was questioned Tuesday by Peter Doocy, who asked why Biden administration was reopening one of the very facilities Democrats previously labelled a ‘human rights abuse’.
Psaki argued that “This is not kids being kept in cages,” and claimed “this is a facility that was reopened that is going to follow the same standards as other [Department of Health and Human Services] facilities.”
Psaki continued “That’s never our intention – of replicating immigration policies of the past administration. But we are in a circumstance where we are not going to expel unaccompanied minors at the border.
Psaki also argued that because “there is a pandemic going on,” the holding facilities must be used, rather than the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
In other words, ‘its OK when we do it’.
Alex Jones analysis the Tucker Carlson Naomi Wolf interview and why more liberals need to speak up against what Joe Biden is proposing.
Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez commented on the development, but only mildly criticised Biden for the exact same thing she previously labelled “concentration camps” and created a staged ‘crying’ photo op over during Trump’s presidency.
As we have previously exposed, the ‘cages’ at the border were instituted by the Obama administration, and have been repeatedly mis-used by Democrats and their supporters to attack Trump, who actually signed an executive order to end the policy of separating kids at the border.
