Appearing on MSNBC, former Trump attorney turned “tell all” book author, Michael Cohen was asked by Joy Reid “Why do people like Bill Barr, why do these people go along with him (President Trump) do you think?”
With a bit of self deprecation, Cohen answers “Because we’re stupid. You know, we’re a bunch of sycophants.”
He then adds “He’s very much like a cult leader. When you’re in his good grace, you believe that you have this enormous amount of power, which you do, and he somehow manages to convince you to use that power for bad.”
