Another Year and No NFL Teams Have Shown Interest in Giving Colin Kaepernick a Job

The wokety woke woke excitement from a couple months ago about NFL teams wanting offer a job to the league’s original kneeling troublemaker, disrespecting America during the national anthem, was actually nothing more than throwing a Hail Mary in the hopes that time would hear that wound.

Absolutely no one, nada, zip, zilch, nobody has contacted Colin Kaepernick’s agents about offering him an NFL contract.

“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, there was some ‘fake’ interest expressed immediately after Floyd’s death, seemingly out of guilt,” Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio wrote. “There has been zero interest expressed as to Kaepernick ‘in months.’”

“At one point along the way, NFL Media reported that teams had contacted ‘friends and associates’ of Kaepernick, and that they would be contacting his agent when they ‘get to the point where they’re confident enough that they think they can work out a contract.’  So either they never got to the point of confidence that they can work out a contract, or it was all just more bullshit.”

Let’s not forget that the Denver Broncos back in August 2018 offered Kaepernick a job and he turned it down, prompting General Manager and real quarterback John Elway to speak out.

“Colin had his chance to be here. We offered him a contract, he didn’t take it,” Elway said.

Nevertheless, the truth is there’s more-than-likely as little interest from Kaepernick to back in the NFL, as there is from the NFL to take him back.

Kaepernick doesn’t seem to have any designs to go back, outside of “winning” his beef with the NFL.  He’s living the dream where he gives the occasional hate speech against America, running a social justice camp for kids so the Left can indoctrinate them early, posting insanely hateful tweets on the 4th of July, and doing the occasional video commercial for Nike.  Plus, he’s a got a new sense of star power by his adoring fans who also hate the country and believe police wake up every day hoping to shoot and kill a black person even though there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support such a crazy notion.

Some outlets speculate Kaepernick’s deal with Nike is more than $5 million a year, which begs the question, why on earth would the mediocre former NFL quarterback be curious about getting his ass handed to him by a defensive line and ruin his career, plus, he could catch the Chinese virus CV-19 to make nowhere near what Nike is paying him as a back-up quarterback.

Colin Kaepernick sitting on the bench

Many NFL fans have left the sport behind, including me, because of the movement Kaepernick started where spoiled players who make millions of dollars to play a game, and don’t forget about becoming famous, trash the very country that allowed them to get those multi-million dollar deals and fame.

Only the leftist media want to see Kaepernick play again, and that’s mostly because they want to use him as another vehicle to attack Donald Trump.  They also want to write the story of the alienated rabble-rouser coming back to football in all his grandeur majesty to take his place back in the league that didn’t want him back for so long.  I’m surprised Black Lives Matter terrorists haven’t threatened the league with non-stop riots outside their stadiums for fans to have to deal with at the end of every game if they don’t offer him a job.  Maybe that’s only for Trump supporters during the RNC convention.

But he’s already burned his bridges, which is why, short of those BLM threats I already talked about, no team is offering him a job.

Tucker Carlson said it best on his Fox News Shows Tucker Carlson Tonight back in 2018 when he pointed out that Kaepernick, and subsequently the NFL, didn’t attack a specific politician or any government policy that could be addressed, they attacked America.

“Sitting through the nationwide anthem is a approach of constructing a broad-based, generalized, and due to this fact unimaginable to rebut assault in opposition to the nation,” Carlson stated, including that individuals like Kaepernick and Nike executives “hate and resent the very system that made their prosperity, their success, attainable.”

The fact of the matter is Kaepernick’s protest spreading through the NFL and going mainstream is exactly what killed the sport.  The NFL will never again get back to its popularity that it enjoyed every season.  Sure, there will be fans that fill stadiums for most teams, but the real money come in TV ratings, and America has changed that channel.
