A day after Modi govt’s digital surgical strike on 118 Chinese apps, indulging PUBG, China govt said that the app ban violates the legal interests of its investors and has asked India to reconsider the ban. Meanwhile, the shares of Chinese gaming and social media powerhouse Tencent fell more than 2 per cent on Thursday after India banned 118 mobile apps, including the firm’s popular videogame PUBG.
