Belarus opposition leader claims election victory and calls for peaceful protests

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, the Belarusian opposition candidate who fled to neighbouring Lithuania after standing in Sunday’s presidential election, has posted a video calling on her supporters to continue their protests against Alexander Lukashenko’s authoritarian regime.
