South Korea has reported a spike in confirmed cases with 125 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday.
The country’s health officials said the increase was driven by a cluster of infections and imported cases.
Meanwhile, President Moon Jae-in said the country would continue to roll out measures to boost the economy, including making emergency cash payments to families. He also said the government would draw up a second supplementary budget next month.
