Australia urges against large gatherings of more than 500 people

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison is calling on citizens not to gather in groups of more than 500 people, due to coronavirus concerns. The statement does not include schools, airports or public transport. But the country has cancelled the Formula One grand prix scheduled for March 15. A series of cricket matches with New Zealand will still go ahead but without spectators. Australian health officials say current models predict millions of citizens could contract the coronavirus within the next six months. The country now has at least 156 confirmed cases, with three deaths.
