This Professor Wants to Fight Climate Change by Ending Humanity

Overpopulation is one of the (alleged) many problems facing our changing climate. Some people are having fewer people as a result (see WATCH: Two Liberal Hippy Freaks Tell Women to Stop Having Babies and Environmentalists: ‘Babies are Bad for Earth!’). The problem is that as long as there are people, there will be people to destroy Mother Earth. This leaves us with only one clear solution: End humanity altogether.

This serious proposal was introduced by British professor Patricia MacCormack in her new book — wait for it — The Ahuman Manifesto.

The book argues that due to the damage done to other living creatures on Earth, we should start gradually phasing out reproduction. But rather than offering a bleak look at the future of humanity, it has generated discussion due to its joyful and optimistic tone, as it sets out a positive view for the future of Earth – without mankind.

“I arrived at this idea from a couple of directions. I was introduced to philosophy due to my interest in feminism and queer theory, so reproductive rights have long been an interest to me – this led me to learn more about animal rights, which is when I became vegan. Humanity has caused mass problems and one of them is creating this hierarchal world where white, male, heterosexual and able-bodied people are…”

This may surprise you: This woman is a little bit of a wackadoodle. Here she is hanging out in a cemetery.

However, does she have a point? Seriously, let’s think about it. The problem with this planet is that people are destroying it. People need to consume in order to survive. As long as people exist, there will be people who want to do things like eat meat, drive places, and use electricity. If you eliminate the people, you eliminate people destroying our planet. Then, our climate will finally stop changing.

It’s brilliant in its simplicity. Get this woman a Nobel Peace Prize. Then see if she can lead her followers to come to a conclusion about themselves first. Nope, that’s not us advocating for any kind of word that ends in “cide.” These people are the ones who think people are the problem. So they can volunteer to fix the problem first before asking us to do the same. Seem fair?
