Daredevils Fly Through ‘Heaven’s Gate’ With Jetpacks

Two daredevils flew through the famed “Heaven’s Gate” in China wearing jet packs late last year.

Frenchmen Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet jumped out of a helicopter in the Hunan Province and proceeded to fly with carbon fiber wings powered by four engines.

The equipment the two flyers wore can reach speeds of 400 kilometers per hour and is controlled by the human body, able to change direction and perform loops. (REUTERS)
