Super 8 by Wyndham, the economy hotel brand, has unveiled a shared room concept that can accommodate four guests. Developed with help from an undergraduate design student at Utah State University, Candice Butters, and celebrity interior designer Alison Victoria, the Room8 concept will be piloted at select Super 8 locations next year. The room takes a traditional hotel suite and transforms it for a group of guests. The rooms include vintage arcade games, a foosball table, an open dining layout and individual sleep spaces. Wyndham Destinations Inc.
also announced that it’s expanding its Margaritaville Vacation Club locations to Las Vegas in February 2020. This is the fourth vacation club resort; the other three are in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and downtown Nashville, which will open next week. Wyndham stock is up 24.5% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index
is up 20% for the period.
